What Browser are you using? (ie) Edge, Chrome, Firefox? if you sign in to your browser, it will ask you if you want to save the user name and password for each site. Passwords are saved in the Settings (ie) 3 dots, or lines at the upper right of the browser.

For other passwords check in Credential Manager of Windows, Search for this, or Search For Control Panel/Credential Manager This will list most of your saved passwords for web sites, and the Windows Credentials for login passwords to your computer and other network shares.

Passwords to websites are saved in your browser, not windows. If you are syncing your browser passwords across ALL your other devices, that means you have to log in to your browser to see all the passwords that are syncing. There's always a chance your browser had an update that wiped the passwords but I have never seen that happen. Within your browser settings, make sure that sync is turned on and that you are signed into the browser.

As a long-time proponent of redundancy, I use Keepass 2 on all my devices, as well as browsers for frequently used passwords. Notice I said browsers as in plural, I use Chrome for all things Google and everything else is in Brave. I also use 2FA for all my banking/credit card/online shopping sites. I realize that it might be too late in this instance, but something to think of for future disasters.

An assortment of "land fill, obsolete" computers all running Linux Mint 22 (at the moment).
You can try re-sync, but if synced data is gone, it will not help.

is there another way to get them back ?
Sadly no, it happened to me as well, but luckily I had a backup. Thus the reason I abandoned MS wallet. It is getting worse.

You can try some recovery software to see, if you can restore the older version of this file, but it is unlikely.
Code:
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Login Data

MS Authenticator is this stupid as well, it will sync the new app with zero data and it will remove the cloud save.

My browser is Edge, and yes i recommend that he keep my passwords

In Edge go to the 3 dots at the upper right, click Settings. Under Profiles/Microsoft Wallet click the Passwords link. This will list all of your saved passwords for web sites you saved your passwords for in Edge.

Unless you chose to Clear the Browsing History including passwords in Settings, or you Reset Edge.

If that happened after an update, it's possible that cache has been cleared during the update?
You should be taking down your passwords and not let your PC take care of it for you. It is safer and easier that way.

An Update will not clear the browser cache. You have to manually do that.
Saved passwords in your browser are encrypted. You need to type your Windows Login Password to unlock.
