Usually Display settings and changing the Resolution and Scale settings will remain as set until changed by the User.

If using the Ctrl key with the + or - to resize or the Ctrl key plus scroll wheel the change is temporary and the update changes to the Registry will set things back to normal. Sometimes the same happens when rebooting.

Thanks for your reply, you are correct on Display settings and changing the Resolution and Scale settings. as they do stay the same. the problem i'm finding is when an update is done my file explore settings are getting changed back to default. so is there a way for this to not happen when updates are applied? Thank You DP
