I don't care for Jump Lists in the Start Menu & Taskbar but I discovered it's necessary for manually-added Favorites in Windows Explorer to stay sorted according to the last file opened. (Last file opened goes to the top of the Favorites list when Jump Lists is enabled) If I disable Jump Lists, then the Favorites list order in Windows Explorer never automatically changes.
Does anyone know if there's a way or .reg hack to disable Start & Taskbar Jump Lists but keep Favorites list in Windows Explorer updated with the most recently opened file on the top of the Favorites list? Thanks.
