I have found tutorials for most items. The result is as follows:

Remaining items to resolve:
  • It's odd that these items are all under Desktop, when clearly most of them (e.g., the listed drives) are not on the Desktop.
  • Somehow, I added links to the Current and PORTABLES folders, and cannot figure out how to remove them.
  • The tutorials to remove Control Panel and Recycle Bin do not seem to be working.
I do want Downloads to display. I never use Network, but presumably I should have it there anyway?

Try setting File Explorer to open to... This PC

I believe that's all I did and used the Remove folder from File Explorer tutorial.
Mine looks like this... (I drew the blue boxes after taking the screen shots).

I also set my browser to save all downloads to my Desktop. (Easier to find).

I don't know if it matters, but in Winaero Tweaker, in the File Explorer section, I did this...

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
The Winaero Tweaker - Custom Items suggestion is on target. I did have those two folders (Current and PORTABLES) listed there. I've removed them from that list. They no longer appear in new sessions of File Explorer.

Like yours, my Winaero Tweaker - Default Items window has a checkmark next to This PC and nothing else, including Network. So I'm not sure why Network appears anyway.

Still no clue about the other items.

All I did was follow these tutorials... and that Winaero tweak I showed above.

Note:

My Win 11 is not like other Win 11's. I didn't do a clean install of Win 11.
I had Win 10 running perfectly, so I just did an In-Place upgrade from Win 10 to Win 11.
So some Win 10 tweaks, came along for the ride,

So there may be some of this, involved as well...

And... I believe that in both cases... Win 10 and Win 11, I used the option to remove them "all at once" rather than individually.

I did see your previous link to the "Add or Remove Folders" tutorial.

I'll keep your suggestions in mind, if I start over from the beginning - with, perhaps, a new install. As it is, they don't seem to address my situation. But if I'm missing something specific, please don't hesitate to enlighten me.
