Hi all,
I had Windows 11 Insider installed on an old unsupported laptop of mine (Intel 2nd gen i3 with 8GB RAM, no TPM) but it was on the old DEV builds before it became Canary (25xxx), so I wanted to wipe it and re-install Windows 11 so that I could set it to install the new DEV builds (23xxx)
I have done this, and I used Rufus to create the USB stick to bypass stuff during set up. However, after getting Windows Installed and using the OfflineInsiderEnroller script (GitHub - abbodi1406/offlineinsiderenroll: OfflineInsiderEnroll - A script to enable access to the Windows Insider Program on machines not signed in with Microsoft Account) it sees the new Insider builds in Windows Update and starts to download them, but when it gets to 8%, it shows the box saying that Windows 11 can't be installed due to the lack of a TPM module. This was never an issue before. So then I tried the TPM skip on dynamic update script (MediaCreationTool.bat/Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd at main · AveYo/MediaCreationTool.bat) but this hasn't resolved the issue either.
I know I could use the manual method probably of replacing appraiser.dll with the Win10 version, but I never had to do this before - when using the OfflineInsiderEnroller script, it was all automatic.
Any ideas?
Thanks
