Youtube issue or browser

Seems like the last couple of days there is a delay when opening videos using FF
Other browsers work okay until you log in...
Just check and its the same with FF once you log in youtube...delays at start

Have you disabled all your browser addons to see if it clears the issue?

Also check hardware acceleration settings in your browser. If it's on, turn it off and check videos. If it's off, turn it on and check.
(Mine is on in both my browsers and I have no issues, but some people have to turn it off)
  1. Click on "Firefox" then "settings."
  2. In the "General" panel, go to the "Performance" section.
  3. Uncheck the box next to "Use recommended performance settings" and make sure the box next to "Use hardware acceleration when available" is selected.
  4. Close and restart the browser for the change to take effect.
In Edge that setting is under "system & performance" "use graphics acceleration when available"

It was using ad blocker , done it in brave also
Disable the adblockers and youtube runs okay

I do not have that issue but for some reason, I am getting notifications on Videos That I have already Watched, some are months old.

i have just checked youtube with FF and it seems to be fine.
but i have FF setup as thus.

disable hardware acceleration in settings, then.
in about:config
gfx.webrender.all set to enable
gfx.webrender.software set to enable

i have FF set this way as i dont have a separate graphics card i have a CPU/GPU only.
