Hello , I have a problem with my keyboard settings.
The special characters are reversed, and they don't come back because of the key combinations, and in the settings it doesn't work either.
Can someone give some feedback on this.

e.g.

Many Notebooks/Laptops have Fn key combinations and it's a hardware thing, work the same regardless of the Operating System. The color of Fn determines which F key combination is needed, e.g. if Fn is blue the combo is also the keys with blue marking, the other marking on an F key works alone. The one I'm on now is both white markings but the Fn key works with the larger marking/lettering while smaller mark is stand-alone.

Have you tried the Medion Community?
They might have a quick answer for you.
They will also have the Dutch language

I think you have the wrong region and language settings. Go to Settings and look under Keyboards.
Add a keyboard and select Dutch

The keyboard shown is not a keyboard with Dutch layout.
It has (as far as the alphanumerical and special characters are concerned) the same layout as my keyboard, which is definitely a US-International keyboard.

But what do you mean by 'special characters'? Characters like é à, ï, ü etc.?
Are you trying to archieve that by typing an ' followed by an e for é?
That will only function when the keyboard is set as US-International.
Not the US-English, that has no function in making combined characters.

PS. Please answer in English.

Ok. Add a US QWERTY keyboard and it should fix the issue.

Add a US QWERTY keyboard and it should fix the issue.
As I mentioned before, selecting just the US Qwerty keyboard is not enough.
It is absolutely necessary to use the Internatiuonal version of the US keyboard, other ones will not have the function I described to compose combined characters by typing the accent key first and directly after that the normal letter key. They are needed very often in Dutch language, but the Dutch area is not big enough to make it worth selling laptops (or separate keyboards) with an own Dutch layout.

In Linux that keyboard layout is called: US International with dead keys.

Dutch Keyboard Layout (QWERTY):

Although over 95% of keyboards used in the Netherlands are US keyboards, there is a specific Dutch keyboard layout.

The Dutch layout uses the QWERTY arrangement but includes some additions:

The € sign is accessible via the E key.

The diaeresis (¨) is also included.

Braces ({ }) have dedicated keys.

Other symbols may appear in different locations compared to the standard US layout.

However, it’s worth noting that most Dutch users typically use the US International layout due to its prevalence.
