Solved Windows 11 not showing the correct number in the bottom left counter

The title says it all. Windows 11 often show a incorrect number compared to the number on the last image file? Is there any way to fix this behaviour ?

The images are blurred. They are safe...i don't want the cosplay images to be distracting.

Perhaps hidden files. Change to show all files & show protected files, refresh and see if the counts match.
Anything with a .db extension are in my opinion safe to delete, anything else that might of been hidden, I couldn't tell you about without seeing them.

Top of file explorer, click the 3 dots then options, go to the view tab.

I see there is one more folder than the amount quoted. My apologies I had it backward.

CTRL+A (Select all) Bottom left corner of File Explorer will tell you how many you selected.
At least that’s how I do it if there are more than 9 items.

I'm assuming one is missing...,
A stab in the dark, but, I'm guessing you have 5 rows of 8 and 6 in the bottom row! 🤷‍♂️
