I'm sorry, but you've been around this forum for a while. Why would you make changes to the registry without first creating a disc image?

Don't worry about it, and stop looking in event log unless you are having some specific issue.

You can copy any normal folder to your desktop. Just right click, drag, copy.

Are you having any issues with your system? If not, STAY OUT OF EVENT VIEWER.

Okay. I found his post saying: "I have uninstalled, used the Brother full pkg and nothing, I can print however. Also, I still have the further installation notice." confusing. Couldn't tell if he was saying "nothing I can print however" or "nothing - I can print however."

Is it a usb or wifi connection to the printer?

Have you reinstalled the printer driver package? If not, please do so.

What happens when you click on "Click here to view more on Microsoft Exchange"? That should bring up your old emails.

Is there an icon in Start - Programs? If so, just right-click and drag to the desktop and create a shortcut icon. Otherwise, search for Word.exe, navigate to the folder, and right-click and drag to the desktop and create a shortcut.

I suggest you do not allow Windows update to update your drivers.

The old rule of thumb is to only update drivers if there is a specific need or reason to do so (required feature, added support for a game or sw, etc).
