I, like others, never knew about the new software until October last year when I visited their site.
Anyway, uninstalled the old software, installed PowerChute Serial Shutdown and it has run smoothly ever since.

If you have Windows Sandbox installed, but do not have VM active in your BIOS, then the updates might fail. Advice is to remove Sandbox and try again.
Unless the ISO has the most recent updates included, it will not repair to the latest version.

I don't have trouble getting the updates, it is just that they won't install, always stoping at 37%, and then rolling back.
I always have the get latest updates set to off.
