    I got an update for the NVIDIA App today and there are new Options and since enabling "Override the reference mode", I could restart the driver, change settings all day long and ACM stayed disabled. Maybe NVIDIA just released the solution for us. It was introduced with version 11.0.3.218

    Sorry to necro this but has anyone found a solution for this problem? Its driving me nuts that it always re-enables itself after every change and every driver update.
