thanks - these are my visual effects settings (fig1) - i tried toggling off most of them, but none fixed the issue of fading a window when the mouse hovers over the window's X close button (fig 2)

As my title describes, I am trying to figure out how to toggle off the Windows 11 "feature" of fading a window when you hover over its "X" close button on the top right thanks in advance for any insights!

Hi Sinto - thanks, you are right - i paused windows updates a couple days ago and presumed i was up to date - to answer your question, it only covers the taskbar when i drag a window down - never when a window is in full screen
