Ever since upgrading from 23h2 to 24h2 my keyboard has a weird issue. Whenever my PC sits idle for a while my volume buttons don't work unless I left click my screen with my mouse. Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000.

Any Ideas ?s-l1600.webp

How can it be a feature, it's more of a inconvenience. Is there a way to prevent that ?

It's old programmer speak, from the explanation: "It's not a bug, it's a feature!" It means, I think, that the behavior is known and (a) either too much work or trouble to fix or (b) too trivial and inconsequential (in the eyes of the developer) to bother with. Sorry if it didn't make sense.
Cheers!

All modern products have such software 'features' which the manufacturers can't be bothered to track down and fix.
