Thanks for replying.
I find it less effort to use the methods I described in my post #39.
- I get at the Firefox bookmarks in a dialog that lets me drag them into my filing system by using the shortcut Ctrl-Shift-O
- I need to take an additional step to get at Edge Favourites in order to drag them into my filing system - see my ditty - Edge Favourites management [post #8] - TenForums
Once they are independent .url files I can do whatever i want with them.
