A blank spot on screen

I don't know what has happened but I havve suddenly got a blank spot in the bottom right hand corner of my monitor which prevents me form accessing the eject USV+B and other alternatives option. see pic
I recently went over to the Brave browser if that is anything to do with this issue.

Is the eject media icon in the hidden group. Click the up arrow.That's a mightly wide taskbar you've got there.
Restart to see if white box goes away.

Yes Glasscutter and this is on my main desktop not my laptop. Clicking on that arrow does open something up but it is hidden behind the blank spot.

Ok Glasscutter I think I might have found the culprit and it is the Brave browser because on a restart of the Windows Explorer and then a clean boot the blank spot is not there on my home screen it only appears when I open the Brave browser. I will try going back to Edge and se if the issue resolves.

No go with the Edge browser something else is causing the problem.

I want to make sure what you mean when you say clean boot. I think you are referring to a regular restart. Correct?
Because there is a procedure called "clean boot" and it was going to be my next suggestion for you to try.
If it doesn't happen in a clean boot, you have some software conflicting with Windows. Brink's procedure will help you weed out which one. Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 11 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts Tutorial

Thanks Glasscutter am replying via my laptop right now as I am restoring the desktop to a recent restore point. I did try the plain shut down then start tup again plus I ran the instructions re msconfig and then restarted but the spot remained so at a loss I am doing what it is doing now.
I just don't understand where thsi blank space has come from the machine was running perfectly yesterday and yes I did a scan of it with ESET and SuperAntiSpyware with no effect?

Well the restore did not complete to the point I wanted so am not sure of what to do.

I don't know Glasscutter and right now they are not showing?? it is just a blank space which cannot be clicked on either

I almost want to think it's a widget. Just to make sure can you get to settings>personalization>taskbar
Under 'taskbar items' toggle widgets to off. Restart or log off and log back on.

Did that and at first restart it disappeared but then suddenly came back.

OK Glasscutter I have got back some via Settings/Personalisation/Taskbar/Other system icons

of the hidden icons and added them to the taskbar see pic at least I can see the ones I use often now

Those 3 horizontal lines resemble what might relate to audio mixer settings ?? What happens when you click/right click ??

As far as SysTray icons, Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar > Other system tray icons > slide to off. Then you'll see all icons all the time.

I doubt whether this has anything to do with Brave (total Bravohile myself, never seen it), but try this ...
Open Brave
Address bar type chrome://flags
In the search box, start typing Hardware media key handling
Change the setting for this to Disabled
Close, and reboot computer

EDIT : Just noted your above new post ... you have far too many items running at any one time as indicated in the SysTray. Could be a memory issue (if display hasn't got it's own memory)

Open Task Manager > Startup > post screen grab, or provide a list of those "Enabled"

Ok mate I will try what you say because I have added some system tray items back as a permanent item but I would be glad to get rid of that annoying blank spot..

Ok tried that and on reboot the square comes back and looks to be a start up item as it follows the ESET and other apps loading???

You'll need to track in down in task manager> Processes, but this tip by @dalchina may help

white space lower right - Windows 10 Help Forums

In the right corner of the screen about 3"x 4" there is a white box that won't go away unless I restart then occasionally it will return. Is this a hardware problem. I would have given a screen shot but it is not there at the moment.
