Yeah, people confuse instability with bugs.

An OS can have some bugs (they all do) but that does not necessarily make it unstable. W11 22H2 is pretty rock solid.

I suspect in most cases, any instabilities arise from a bad update rather than than W11 itself. A repair install usually sorts this.

I've had no real problems with windows 11 and I feel it's faster than windows 10 (subjective) . I like the new interface now I'm used to it. For me a couple of things have gone but it's more than made up for by the feel of the new gui.

I'm very happy with Windows 11. It seems about the same as Windows 10, with respect to stability. I do get a lot of Event Viewer messages, but none of them impact on perceived performance. My main issue with Microsoft is that they feel the need to have annoying numbers after the release of the operating system. For me, it has always been just "Windows".

I have everything from XP up to W11 available to me plus Win'95, either as a physical machine or a VM. All of them can connect to my network.

I'm equally comfortable using W10 or W11 with a slight preference for 11. W8.1 I can't stand, I only give it house-room so I can answer support questions. W7 is still quite usable and practical. XP is showing its age and feeling a little clumsy to use now.

If you really want to see how much Windows has progressed, try using a Win'95 machine. Mine is there for nostalgia and the few support questions that still get asked about connecting it to a Win10/11 network

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro (and all my Hyper-V VMs).

I wholeheartedly agree! I've been there and done that! My first computer was the original IBM PC in 1981. I like Windows 11 and feel no need to run apps and tweaks to try to make it look and work like Windows 10 or earlier versions.

I myself don't have any problems with the 22H2 update, but in a parallel thread I see a 3 star guru having problems with it. This can be disruptive for a small business owner, the more so because he can't do a repair install himself.

I like to believe that an older/more mature OS has fewer 'bad updates'.

No problems here, I have 2 PCs on Win11 and 2 on Win10 and am quite happy with all of them, Win11 does seem faster though on most things.

I never used Windows 10. Switched from Windows 8.1 to Windows 11, do not regret.

It seems that the URL was encoded for some reason, probably a character set encoding issue somewhere from wherever you copied and pasted the URL from.
