I have two annoyances with the Widgets on the Start Menu, I hope the one can be fixed by either a RegEdit or CMD command, but the other I don't think can be fixed cause Microsoft and their brilliance of 'what the user wants' even though it's stupid and not what we want.
I'm actually amazed how this section has grown on me and I skim the news on there multiple times a day when I'm bored, but sometime recently (don't remember when) they added a "Coupon" panel to the news feed. (See screenshot)

If I click the X in the upper right of that card and select "Hide savings card" all it does is refresh that screen, keeping the stupid "Savings card" still there. I want that gone.
The second annoyance comes in two parts (both I think I'm stuck with)... 1. I hate sports and wish I could just turn that off, but you can't, I made sure that Sports isn't selected in the Interests, but I must have blocked at least 30 or 40 'news sites' that all have FanNation in their name somewhere, I spend more time blocking crap than reading anything interesting. (Ideally, I wish I could just do a search for FanNation for example and block all in one shot). Point 2. Above those panels, where they post breaking news, severe weather, etc. is there anyway to turn off the finance related notices. These aren't breaking news to me, I don't care about how much US currency vs another currency has changed, I don't care if the DOW goes up or down, etc.
TL;DR
Most of this post is just a rant about Microsoft's choice of what 'users want' when they don't, but if you can help me remove that stupid Coupon/Savings card, that'd be great, ignore the rest.
