I want my taskbar on top and to the left, so there, Microsoft!
You can use Explorer Patcher to put it on top or on the left.

I already have it on top and left aligned. The only thing now is that silly bunch of icons in the middle of my monitor!
I generally don't like utilities that change things around (especially those that change the start menu), but I may give EP a looksee.
I used
@Brink 's tutorial to do that. Thing is, those who want it on the left or right side of the monitor (vertical) can't do that yet.
I used to say that Microsoft gave us lots of customization choices, but now, we have
Mama Microsoft telling us we don't need choices; just do what she says! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Windows 11 gives us even less choice than Windows 10 and that even took away some of the things we had in Windows 7. One of a list of reasons i will not be using Windows 11 anytime soon.
