Solved Audio malfunction

I have been reading about an update that has been causing problems with headsets. but my headset is working fine. it is my speakers, BOSE Speakers, That have suddenly stopped working. is it possible that a recent update could be the cause of this problem? I ask because Up until just recently my speakers are working just fine. any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at Control Panel>Hardware & Sound>Sound it may give you a clue to what's not working. Good luck.
