Yes that's the downside - as you know I just spent a couple of days doing that! Plus a couple of hours sorting out Windows settings. Hence system images are good once programs installed. I used to set up a lot of older computers and netbooks for donating or selling on, so just did the clean installs though and it is a lot easier that they are so quick to do. Not doing so much of that these days. Although I did just do it on an old HP 630 - only worth about £40 used. Nothing wrong with it and works really well. I'd have kept it but too big for me. Very scratched lid so I bought a skin for the lid.The clean install of Windows may be quick, but it takes me days to install and setup all of my programs.
