Best icon changing / management tool for W11?

They are a few ones from some context menus :
(everything in red is what I want to get rid of, and in green what I need to keep !)

Some very few options to disable Stardock's apps in the context menu were offered.

In CCleaner, 3 options on Fences were offered made explorer freeze at restart. (dropped).

I only managed to remove the IconDeveloper option overtaking ZIP files when I reassigned it in app.




A few years ago when I had time to kill, I used to go all through the ShellEx REG files to delete one by one extension entries which removed them from the context menu.
I still don't know nothing much about it, if setting keys from 1 to 0 is better, and don't want to stupid things.

Well, for a start I can just use the search fonction [Ctrl+F] and look for any Stardock keys in "ShellEx".
For instance, I'll wait a bit for any feedback, but I still think posting this request separately will be more appropriate.


This thread's originally just supposed to highlight Icon changer Apps, it is also the only one mentioning Stardock's Icon Packager.
It quickly switched to editing the registry instead, which is pretty interesting but doesn't help much in answering the main thread's question.
As apps constantly evolve, I guess it's not really possible to consider the question "as solved".
The list I posted on TenForums regroups the ones known here in a clear way.


It would be a nice thing if each customizer app could have its own thread,
(Only CustomizerGod seems to have one, I think we can forget Winaero which is too limited)
and threads about customizing icons without an app (one about replacing, another about redirecting).

I'll probably do so in a short while, that will be much easier to deal with each subject separately.
Too bad if there are a few duplicates from other "side" discussions, most of them get lost with the overtake of the main thread's one.

If anyone’s still looking for a tool like this, check out Iconium—it’s free, open-source, and makes changing icons on Windows 10-11 super easy. You can do batch icon changes, import/export icon packs, and delete the program afterward without losing your icons. I’m the author, so feel free to let me know what you think.
