I get a black screen on restarting Windows with my account picture. Windows starts without having to enter Password. Is there a way to get a Lockscreen or spotlight image to show on the restart screen? I have enabled each one at different times but the screen remains black!

Search netplwiz click on netplwiz run command from search results.
Put a check by "users must enter username and password to use this computer"
apply-OK
go to settings>personalization>lock screen
under 'personalize your lock screen' select windows spotlight
Toggle on "show lock screen background picture on signin"
Note: if you do NOT want to have to signin when computer wakes from sleep
open settings>accounts>signin options>under 'if you've been away when should windows require you to sign again' to never..
