Such a frustrating technology -- for me anyway. I finally got the bt earbuds to work. Mind you, they do work but only when they feel like it. I have been trying to get a connection after many days. For some reason, today it worked. Now that they are working I will put them back in the charging case since I am finished using them. I have been down this road before - I put them away - fully charged. Next day, take them out and voila! No deal. Will not pair and connect. Even though the day before they did their job. Thanks again for any thoughts.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, @Patsy1011. I wish I could help you but I gave up on BT a long time ago. I know others like it and have no problem but my series of events mirror yours. And with me it's just not BT being flakey on one Windows device, but 3. (that may be a good sign that it's an operator error)
Finally decided it just is not worth the continuous hassle.

I'm sorry to hear that you share my experience -- it is really a strange technology which I am probably going to CAN! Who needs such frustration. Reflecting on my earlier post, I just took them out of the case and tried to connect. No deal. Earlier today - worked fine.
Thanks for your input...glad I'm not alone in this frustration.

There was not a single problem in five years of use. Completely abandoned Realtek audio. Everything worked out of the box on two laptops and a desktop.

The microphone work is not very well done, I hope that LE Audio will fix it.

Sometime when a device was paired and used previously it would not connect the next day I tried. To get the device to work again I had to select Remove the device and then pair it again.

Hey Patsy!
You don't say which make of ear buds you have?
Have you verified that they could need a firmware update from the manufacturer since you are using Windows 24H2?
Since your notebook has a Intel CPU , you most likely have BT from them as well.
If not already done then, I would recommend you install Intel Driver and & Support for the latest drivers and BT drivers as well.

How to use:

This app works through your browser and will examine the drivers installed and ask if you want to update any that are available.
You can then choose which or all that are available for your notebook.

I've been using BT since 2017 with both my Logitech keyboard and with Soundcore headphones and have yet to encounter any problems
"yet".

I have a similar situation. Here's how I get around it:

My BT won't pair until I am actually using an audio source. In other words, I can't pair the BT with my amp until I start playing some music, then it pairs and connects up. Works fine after that, but the connection thing happens every time I boot or turn the BT off. If there is sound coming out of the PC, then no problem.

Hope that works for you.
