Hello. Connect my Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones via my ASUS USB-BT500 dongle and while the headphones work for listening, they are only picking up 25-35% of what I am saying (even with the 'level' set to 100) which is preventing me from using an app called "Beyond ATC" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

I have the latest updates, drivers, etc. of everything.

Is there any other way to change this or am I going to be forced to buy some other headset or get a dedicated microphone?

Also, does anyone else find it weird that the 'format' is suggesting such low quality? "Tape Recorder Quality"? These are $450 headphones!

Apparently there are still some problems ... it might not be with your expensive Bose Headphones. You can look here and ask questions: [bug] No engine or cockpit sounds & multiple MSFS 2024 instances in audio mixer
Hi Jacee - while MSFS 2024 is great, it definitely has some bugs.

That being said, my issues are happening outside of the sim or even the Beyond ATC app I am ultimately trying to use my headphones with.

Even if I'm testing the microphone within the Windows Sound settings/menus, I'm getting 25-35% of volume detected. If I select "listen to this device" and speak, I'm only hearing like 40% of what I am saying - so this is a Windows OS level issue (or an issue with my headphones/Bose in general) rather than at the game level.

If anyone has anything thing else I can try to improve the ability of the microphone to detect 100% of my voice, that'd be super appreciated!

Negative. I use these headphones with my Android phone as well as my Windows laptop (for meetings) and do not have the same issues. Interestingly, on my work laptop, it is also showing as "1 channels, 16 bit, 16000 Hz (Tape Recorder Quality)".
