Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Integrated Camera > Enable.

You can also go via the Camera App > Cog > Camera settings v > Open camera system settings > Integrated Camera > Enable.
That seems to be a new setting & clicking there gives you another preview and some Camera settings.

On my Lenovo that has to be enabled and the Camera switch on the Laptop RH side.

I’ll check but Windows is recording 75 or 100 access to the camera camera request that is

It's enabled. There is a grey screen for the camera.
I wonder if I blocked it using win debloater or winaero but both of the programs have been uninstalled since I gave this pc to my son.

Help please. Camera will not show up in ANY application. It certainly seems to be working because the settings/privacy page is showing 10s of request to use the camera. The shutter is open. It really *seems* like it's working....but it's not. Just grayed out. I've had this laptop for years but I don't think I ever used the camera.

please check your Device drivers, no yellow ! hopefully, if its showing please update the driver

note
if camera is not showing then its likely been dissabled via a Bios setting

You should very briefly get "Preview is loading please wait" in the grey area in the integrated camera part of settings.

Mine has no system mods.
There is good reasons why and that is additional problems are generated by using them, like shared elements and hooks in to the Windows system can be damaged which may result in having to re-install Windows.

So that's me out.

Hmm....yes I definitely had a bunch of system mods. Does SFC fix things like this? I should probably just reinstall.

I had similar issue on one pc, and I tried everything to sort out why camera would not work, drivers, settings blah blah blah.

Then I had a dohhhh moment as I realised I had disabled the camera from a media function key (f10 on my device but could be different).

On some devices you have to use fn key to access media functions.

Not sure why it's only on 22H2. it's my laptop that I gave to my son a couple weeks ago. I update it regularly???

My son just checked are there are only security updates. Oh well, that's another thread.
