Hello! I know there is Shazam to identify a song from a small part. I wondered if there is any similar application to identify a movie or series from a scene. When I was little we had a Super 8mm film projector to watch cartoons and our home movies captured by a handheld Super 8mm film camera. Video came a few years later in our lives, because back then every technology was introduced with some delay in Greece and at first was very expensive. Unfortunately not all cartoons had the original English titles because some were imported from Italy and had Italian titles. There is such a cartoon, silent in black and white, which depicts the story of Ali Baba. The Italian title is Ali Baba e i 40 Ladroni (Ali Baba and the 40 thieves), but I doubt is a direct translation of the original cartoon. Searching YouTube and other sites for Ali Baba gives me too many similar cartoons but not the one I am looking for. I would like to identify and find the original color sound video to watch it. Back in Super 8mm era they frequently edited out some scenes to make the film fit a single 50ft reel. I would like to find the cartoon and watch the full length with sound and color.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.
