Can I unenroll from getting any insider updates?

Hi, I'm on Windows 11 23H2 22631.2506. I want to not get any insider previews. I enrolled in the Canary channel but after thinking about it, my computer is running great and I don't want to be dealing with issues right now. So how can I unenroll from getting any insider updates? Thank you.

I got out of the Insider Preview before Win11 came out but the 'rule' was either don't use the computer or install the RTM/Released To Market/Manufacturers cleanly. Fortunately and according to the warnings I had it on a spare computer which is now running Linux Mint 21.

Unless you made an image backup before you enrolled you are now suffering "Hotel California Syndrome" i.e. you can check in but never leave. In that case you only option is to clean install release version from scratch. Make sure you know all your password etc., and have backed up your data first.

You could try using the Windows Backup option in the Insider version which saves files in userfiles, settings, and UWP apps.
Then you might be able to pick that up on a clean install, saving some time.

That's independent of whether you are an insider or not. You can be on 22631.2506 and not be an insider or be an insider on the release-preview channel, for which there does not seem to be an official off-ramp for release-preview as far as I know.

There is a way to do it. I have tried the method and it worked, but I don't know if it introduces any issues, so be aware. None that I saw. You can always get back on the release preview to recover I suppose. From @fg2001gf11F

It probably changed but when I was in the Win10 IP the warning was not to install on the only computer or a production computer due to the changes that would be made so I had it on a separate machine. When Win11 was RTM I left Win10 IP and there was an advisory to reformat and install the RTM version of Win10. Since I already had an RTM Win10 I did reformat that computer [wouldn't run the proper install of Win11] and put Linux Mint on it.

I'm going by them posting that they signed up for the Canary builds and my being in the Canary builds I don't remember ever seeing that build. That is why I asked.

I know. The actual build he mentioned was not a canary build, but "I'm on Windows 11 23H2 22631.2506"

Not being interested in the other Insider builds I have no idea of what versions MS have released. And to be completely honest, my wife's laptop and my Mini PCs are running the released version of Windows 11 and I don't even know what version they are running. I'm not having any problems with them and that's all I need to know. :-)
