Hello Berton no mate as for this particularly service well I have just found solution. I tried the Mail icon the service instead of groping around in the Outlook.live.au I tried the said Mail service which sits on my taskbar by default. In in a nutshell and a lot of fiddling with have got the message away. It leaves me wondering the Outlook.lve.com does not have an attachment feature for replying to a mail.

I have both Hotmail.com and Outlook.com [also Webmail] accounts and they are now
Outlook – free personal email and calendar from Microsoft . I did find Reply but haven't delved into it yet to find if there's an Attach Files, maybe when I get more time over the weekend. I got Hotmail back nearly 20-25 years ago then Microsoft announced it would be merging with the new Outlook.com, got a new account in it and it took several years before that merge happened and resulted in outlook.live.com. Note the propensity of Microsoft to reuse names.

Thanks Porthos it ran as it should do this time and leaves me scratching my head why I did not have that option as per your post.

Well Denis I tried sending a mail to myself and then tried Reply but in the Reply mail I hit Insert after a brief reply but the Insert just will not let me do what you say in my normal Outlook.com.au mail but does when I use Hotmail.com.au. So I guess if I want to insert an attachment I shall just have to use Hotmail.com.au app when I want attach a file to a reply.

Actually Denis the Insert now includes attach a file so whether it was a glitch in the first instance it now is working just the same way as yours. But thanks for your help mate.
