I have a network with 2 laptops, desk PC, two printers, NAS and a nature camera via a tp-link EX820 and HX220.
I re replaced one laptop with a Dell which had a degree of networking problems but using Advanced IP Scanner I created mapped the folders shared to work between all three. But the Dell had to be reinstalled, and I am unable to access it now from the network or AIDS. The laptop is shown but I get the contact your administrator error both to and from the laptop to other PC’s.
The desk PC and old laptop are networked OK still. The Dell finds the printers and NAS which I log into with no problem.
Troubleshooter is useless, reset TCP/IP and many other things. Work group is right, disabled stealth in Bitdefender and indeed turned it off for a time. But ideas on what to do more than happy to get as I have no idea what else to do.
