1) WinRE is important to me. And i wanna work (and it does) with all possible entry points (F11,shift+restart+USB)My WinRE in a folder in the C:\ drive works just as well as your Recovery partition does.
I don't know why you mention drivers.

2) If you follow MS's procedure for shrink , the new WinRE it will be unhidden
3) Drivers case:
a) without driver for NVME WinRE cant see my disk.
b) without driver i havent touchpad at WinRe. Only keyboard as my mouse is only bluetooth.
