The opt-in is a move critics have been urging Microsoft to make. People should be allowed to decide if they want to run Recall. They shouldn't be forced to opt out after Windows is installed.

RECALL is cyber security cancer.
Every hacker on the planet is already working on ways to grab all the RECALL data... bet on it. ^^

Also... every program or App comes with a back door. The backdoor may not be "intended" for nefarious purposes, but they are in there. Mostly they're used for debugging.

There's only one rule to follow, security wise...






Ya gotta wonder WHY Microsoft is creating RECALL.
Backup software does a better job, is more secure, and has been around for decades.

Maybe in a corporate environment, RECALL could be a good thing, as corporations have much better security, but for the everyday user... RECALL is gonna be a disaster.
