Solved Can't seem to reset bios admin password even after removing cmos battery for a couple minutes

It's an HP computer.
you better buy its services to unlock. it's typical HP business.

HP is unique. (I run many HP PCs. I know HP better than common users)

There should be a tiny chart printed on motherboard that tells you what pins clear bios pw. It's small so you have to really look for it. Use a magnifying glass if you have to.

i found this away to reset and/or bypass the BIOS password lock on HP systems.

unsure if it will work as my HP AiO has a BIOS password set by me.

Hello Everyone i want to know bios password for hp probook 6560b. Actually i want to install linux on my system and do some setting in bios which i am not able to open bios. So please help me to know bios password. Thankx in advance.

noted, next time i own a system ill add my own bios password, something simple that i can remember. thanks for the tip.

A long time ago I purchased a 2nd hand laptop which had a BIOS password & this is what I did to remove it:
Turned off the laptop, unplugged it from the mains power & removed the battery, removed the CMOS battery & then held the power button for several seconds.
Left it for 30 mins.
Reconnected the CMOS battery & the laptop battery & then connected the power supply, turned it on & all was fine.
