Accessibility Change Magnifier Lens View Size in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to change the height and width Lens view size in Magnifier for your account in Windows 11.

Magnifier makes part or all of your screen bigger so you can see words and images better.

When you select to use the lens Magnifier view, you can change the lens size to a custom screen height and width percentage that works best for you.

Option One

Change Magnifier Lens View Size in Settings


1 Open Settings (Win+I).

2 Click/tap on Accessibility on the left side, and click/tap on Magnifier on the right side. (see screenshot below)

3 Click/tap on View. (see screenshot below)

4 Under Change lens size, adjust the width (bottom) and height (right) slider to the screen percentage (30 default) you want. (see screenshot below)

This settings is only available if the Lens Magnifier view is selected.

Hovering on the dot on each slider will show the current percentage (ex: 30) for it.

5 You can now close Settings if you like.




Option Two

Change Magnifier Lens View Size in Registry Editor


1 Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe).

2 Navigate to the key below in the left pane of Registry Editor. (see screenshot below step 3)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ScreenMagnifier

3 To change the lens height, double click/tap on the LensHeight DWORD in the right pane of the ScreenMagnifier key to modify it. (see screenshot below)

4 Perform the steps below to change the lens height: (see screenshot below)
  1. Select (dot) Decimal.
  2. Enter a value data number between 10 and 100 in increments of 10 for the screen percentage you want.
  3. Click/tap on OK.

5 To change the lens width, double click/tap on the LensWidth DWORD in the right pane of the ScreenMagnifier key to modify it. (see screenshot below)

6 Perform the steps below to change the lens width: (see screenshot below)
  1. Select (dot) Decimal.
  2. Enter a value data number between 10 and 100 in increments of 10 for the screen percentage you want.
  3. Click/tap on OK.

7 You can now close Registry Editor if you like.
