This tutorial will show you how to change the sound output device used by Xbox Party Chat for your account in Windows 11.
The Xbox app for Windows is where you can go to play and manage PC gaming content on your Windows device. Whether you’re an Xbox Game Pass member, or you’ve bought titles from the Microsoft Store, your games await in the app.
Xbox Party Chat allows you to join friends or other players with video or voice chat while playing a game together, watching a show, or hanging out across Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, and mobile devices.
The Xbox Party Chat uses the default system output device by default to play audio through.
You can select to have Xbox Party Chat use a different connected output device (ex: headphones) than what the system is using (ex: speakers).
