Solved Cloning to larger Disk using Macrium Reflect question

I wish I could have responded to the topic sooner. But with Macrium it is trivially easy to Clone to a larger drive from a smaller one. That is once I figured it out. You do not need to use any other utility as Macrium has all you need built in to the Cloning utility. At one time I had some screen shots showing each step but I think I eventually deleted them.

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
I chose the shrink or extend option while cloning. Don't know if it made much difference though.

Here is a post regarding my cloning. Using this method, it's simple, and works perfectly using free Macrium software.

There is a short, simple, easy-to-follow video to use as a guide. Macrium created the video themselves, and it's perfect.
This process can be used to clone a drive to larger or smaller.

I hope this helps or comes in handy for you or someone else (y)

I've made a clone I've just not wanted to try it. I just put the new ssd drive in and did a fresh install of windows. I had to do the clean install because my main ssd couldn't find the new ssd drive to try cloning to it. I'll check out the video Thanks!
