I hope someone can assist with this....
Win 11 pro....I use Companion Link software to sync between my Android Pixel 8 pro phone and my 2021 Microsoft Office Outlook.....
Normally when I enter some data in either the cell phone or outlook......a calendar appointment for example......Companion Link will
synchronize between the two......
Right now I can only manually synchronize....and it does not work every time....
I get this error message....
This version of CompanionLink requires the driver file "c:\users\steve\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup\companionlink.Drv" to be present on the run-time path.
I have has had several tickets opened with Companion Link and all they can tell me is to re-install the program which I've done maybe 5 times so far......it does not fix the problem....
The error message says "companionlink.Drv" to be present on the run-time path."...... I have no idea what the "run-time path" is or I could go there and see if the driver is in
fact present......
When I do a search for the driver I find it is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\CompanionLink\Drv.........I have no idea if that is in the "run-time path" or not.....
Anyone have any experience with Companion Link....???
BTW I have used Companion Link for about 10 years in a Win 10 pc with no issues at all......And when I converted to Win 11 Companion Link did work......
Thoughts and ideas appreciated....
