Now this is the most sensible statement I've heard on this whole forum. Certainly makes sense.Anyone running Win 11 on unsupported CPUs, as I do, should have Windows Update on Pause (for however many weeks you wish) and keep an eye on sites like this one when Updates are released. Should Microsoft release an Update that will cut off older CPUs that information will go across the Internet like a lightning bolt at which time the user must decide what they wish to do. For myself it will be as simple as not allowing the Update to install and then using the Go Back command in Settings.
Edit: I would add that should Microsoft be releasing an Update that will end use on older CPUs, since they released a Registry hack to allow this, they likely would inform the public that a new build being released will bring this use to an end.
