Those are essentially NUCs aren't they, I considered them for the family computer, but I went for an all-in-one. What concerns me with partly DIYs is that if something goes wrong, then I would have to return several items.How about a compromise: a mini PC? Newegg Those are "bare bones". You'd have to add RAM and drive(s), but other than that, the units are pre-built.
There are even a couple of choices with AMD APUs, which usually have better integrated graphics than Intel.
So, a complete package for me, W11 Pro pre-installed, 16 GB RAM, etc., nothing to change in the warranty year. And even then, a return would be a bit problematic, BitLocker and subsequent factory reset help :):)
