Hi x!

Didn't that notebook come with an app that you can manage all aspects of the hardware?

On my MSI Raider and most MSI either PCs or notebooks, we have an app called MSI Center
where, I can choose from sharing power on the USBs to a MUX switch to change the IGPU
to the Dedicated GPU.
This is what it looks like:

Also, if you are having trouble with finding this app (if there is one) I would recommend you visit their Forums for further investigation:

Yeah, the Tongfang chassis is the Clevo chassis of which my Eurocom is built on. (older made to measure notebook).

Here is the latest XMG center if you wish to download and try :

I would still recommend you visit ( I guess register to ask questions) and ask there. They most likely would have an answer
for you. Much better than trying to waist time on different strategies.

Also, if you disable the mux switch in BIOS then, you cannot use it on the app as it will revert back to default which should be
the IGPU.

You have to use that Control Centre supplied with your Laptop.

You should not be messing around and manually disabling MUX switching etc.
Nor using " msi after burn".

All you need to do is look at the Windows Task Manager to see how both GPUs are being used.

To see what Game Apps are detected:
Settings > System > Display > Graphics.
scroll down to "Customised settings for applications"
You can add an App if required.

Also you can use the Nvidia Optimus Control Panel to display various Mode notifications.

This is the Lenovo Vantage control centre, yours should be something similar.
