i use Asus Rog S3 drivers for Z390-E mobo , would this be the same for new board Z790-E series 2 Wifi 7 ?

No (SS3 being EoL, there is no more SS3 since the refreshed ASUS ROG motherboards with ALC40xx codec with Intel Z790 chipset for the Raptor Lake Refresh CPU launch, or newer motherboards) :

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
