I shifted my DVD drive from SATA port 5 to SATA 4. After that the DVD drive doesn't appear between the C and E drive under (computer name) in Explorer but in the pane to the right. It's not important but I wonder why this happened and how am I goint to change it back to what it was before

Usually pinning anything in Quick Access is merely creating a shortcut to that item. Usually there's a map pin/map tack on the item. Right-click an item and Properties to see the actual location.

Yes, otherwise I wouldn't be able to play a DVD.
Which you didn't mention. I sense a combative attitude so i'm out.

You have Classic Shell/Open-Shell installed, a system mod.

The drive Icon is wrong, and you are right it should also appear under This PC.

You either update the System Mod or remove it.

My Open-Shell is updated. For my mobo it says:
When a SATA / PCIe mode M.2 device is installed, the M.2 socket shares bandwidth with the SATA6G_5/6 ports.
As I understand, it is when I'm using the DVD drive which I rarely do. When I don't use it there should be no loss of performance of the M.2 PCIe SSD?
If that's the case I think I'll put the DVD back on SATA 5.

One last thing, check Disk Management and assign the letter desired if it is not already in use.
