Solved Email autofill issue

Ok so I use outlook.com email and you know how when you go to type someone's email address, it suggests autofill? Well my own email address has had the incorrect autofill for a LONG time. It says .con instead of .com at the end. I know it sounds odd sending emails to yourself but I sometimes do that to save various things.

So I have never been able to work out how to get rid of/change this autofill. And it would be nice to have it correct or I end up with "undelivered" or have to type my own email address out in full.

I send heaps of emails to myself every day, from my ipad so I can get content for my PC

get the address you want to remove to popup in the AutoComplete feature. Highlight the name or email address by hovering over it or using the Down Arrow key. Press Delete to remove the AutoComplete entry.

Yeah my iPhone/iPad does it. Annoys me. Can be removed but still. I suppose it’s our own fault for sending drunk emails to some email account that doesn’t exist

As I couldn't find delete, I tried saving it as a contact and then edited the contact. Now I get two autofill options come up - the incorrect one and also the correct one. Unfortunately the incorrect one is at the top.

It's a pig. Now it won't remember the new one. And it still comes up with old one as a suggestion!

Deleted the old one again. It does come up with the correct one now but only in capitals

Yeah I think you have to train it for a couple of emails. Eventually it should remember. If it doesn’t, I’ll come over and we’ll beat the crap out of your laptop.

Tried adding myself as a favourite and it still won't remember me lol. Hopefully it'll come right but maybe it's because I deleted it when it was in capitals.

Nope it just comes up with two autosuggestions. The incorrect one, which I've deleted twice, and the correct one but in capitals

Some more info:
(Deleting the cache and starting over might be a good option, Hazel?)

Disable AutoComplete & and re enable it
Launch Outlook and click the “File” tab in the menu ribbon and select “Options.” Highlight “Mail” on the left and deselect the check box next to “Use Auto-Complete List to Suggest Names When Typing in the To, Cc and Bcc Lines” under the Send Messages section. Press “Apply” and choose “OK” to exit the Options menu.

Command Line
If you would prefer to delete Outlook’s cache of names in Auto-Complete via the command line, close Outlook. Click the Windows “Start” button and type “Outlook.exe /CleanAutoCompleteCache” (without the quotation marks) into the Search field and click on the result.

It's Outlook.com email rather than outlook. I can't see a file tab. Had a look in settings but can't see anything in there about autocomplete.
