Excel - link - and printing

I have an Excel Workbook with two sheets. The main page lists items. The other page has each item listed with info under each, about 4 rows for each.
I link from the main page to the item sheet, no problem. Works well.

But for items further down on the item sheet, I could not put in the row and column as this was greyed out.
So I would have to scroll down on the Item sheet to get to the one I wanted.

I discovered setting the print area was causing this.
In fact when creating the link and choosing, it actually said Item print area.
So I deleted the set print area and I could now put in the row/column and go directly to it from the main sheet.

I know I could define an area, but for more than a few items, this would be tedious.
Is there a solution besides deleting the print area?
Thanks.

Apologies - I have read this several times and just cannot make out what you are trying to do.

Providing screenshots marked up from Excel would really help us understand. Even attaching the spreadsheet as well would help.

I just wanted to link to another sheet further down the page. So I need to input row and column on the link. I have figured it out. Rather than use right click on a cell then "Link" to a different worksheet, same workbook, I discovered Control K which does give the ability to input rows and columns. And I further discovered that setting the area to print is a defined name which is totally separate from the same name of the worksheet tab. Thank you anyway for your offer of help :)
