This tutorial will show you how to export, save, share, and/or print your chat history conversations in Copilot on Web, Windows 11, and Windows 10.

Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered digital assistant designed to help you with a range of tasks and activities.

When you sign in to Copilot with your Microsoft account Copilot uses your Microsoft account to provide personalized assistance and access by default to a wide range of features. For example, saving and syncing your Copilot chat history on all devices you sign in to Copilot with the same Microsoft account.

Your Copilot activity history includes your interactions with Copilot. This activity history includes the things you type in Copilot while visiting copilot.microsoft.com, the Copilot app on Windows 10 and Windows 11, and the AI-assisted responses you receive.

Co pilot has changed and now I am not able to save the entire chat as a word or pdf. Did you notice. Why this sudden removal of user friendly methods from copilot. I do not know. If I export using copilot , it saves as csv file and it is a kind of jumble word without any meaning. Why making drastic changes in kind of this kind of utility, which gives you deep thoughts and results .Hi, brink

Hey mate, :alien:

Yeah, it keeps changing all the time. Hopefully, the friendly options will be added back soon.

You should still be able to use option one to export your Copilot activity history to a CSV file though.

that is the issue. when viewing in excel, it shows repeated sentences and nothing could be usefully read from the chat. When i converse with copilot, valuable clues would be known to me, which of all cannot be put in to test and practice, as each question would be having one to three options to try. If a topic , is lively then one would like to save or export the entire chat. Here it is the problem. I tried to copy those to google word, but could not get anything useful and when i log in to your suggested link, i found the option to export, but as CSV file. When copilot , itself is designed as a q and a session, where comes the csv format. what is the use of csv format at all, i do not know. if I do not have 365 office, then , there is no chance at all. Why a feature introduced by copilot, is taken back all of a sudden and without any alternative is the indirect query I raise.

Hopefully, Microsoft will fix it or add it back soon with this new Copilot app. Be sure to send feedback to Microsoft about it via the Feedback Hub app. Share your feedback link here so others can upvote the issue.

Hi, Brink, this is the first time that I have accessed the feedback app , in which i have already written about the tpm settings and all that. thanks for sharing that . i thought, once feedback is given, it goes to microsoft and not anything could be accessed. When I log in to my account, I saw my previous feedback as well. I have given the feedback to microsoft also in the feedback app and here I share the link. The link is shared here

Hi, Brink, export option in CSV format , only gives chat titles with time stamp in minutes and seconds. It does not contain any chat as such. For that You have to access the view history icon and then click on that to view the topics one by one ,date wise. the CSV file , probably records the conversation time of each of the query and answer, which one will be getting if we just save the csv format. If you access the chat, then you can copy and paste , each query and each answer separately to a document to have the full chat of a topic. This is cumbersome and time consuming. Previously the friendly option of saving it as pdf word was really helpful .I think it is pointless, to give feedback to msoft, as they seldom replies or do something on users feedback. My previous feedback on tpm is just there with no response.

Microsoft is in the process of switching to the new native Copilot app, so hopefully this feature will be fully available and working properly again soon.
