Solved File associations?

Hi,

Any method to associate all media files in settings, with VLC using a single command or would have do it manually each time/stepwise?

And audio with Foobar?

Haven't seen a need to do it with all the files on the right-click menu, just with one file and put a checkmark in the box to Always use this program for this file type. Do have to do the same with each different type. Same in the File Associations in Settings, Apps.

Thanks. I assumed it could probably be done with a single click/command. :confused:

Thankfully each file type has to be set once but if changing programs it may have to be done again. For a single time use the right-click and Open with will allow a different program, if nothing else is chosen the association won't automatically change so next time the double-click should open the file as desired.

That should work as VLC supports many video/audio files.
