Issue arose a few months ago on both my desktop and laptop. I have (2) Asus RT-AXE7800 routers configured in mesh. On the main router I have an external hard drive installed for file storage. Both SAMBA and FTP are enabled and I can access them. However -

Whenever I start my machines, or wake them from sleep, and go to access the router/drive from within File Explorer (SMB I believe) I get a generic error with instructions to run a networking troubleshooter to diagnose. Running the troubleshooter, and then closing it works, and I can access the files...again until waking from sleep or restarting. The drive is protected with username and password but I have saved the credentials to Windows. I'm not sure what else to try to stop the annoying error and having to run a troubleshooter every time. Thoughts or recommendations?
