It seems like Windows 11 development is one step forward and two steps back.Is it possible to get the file explorer the way it was before the update that was just post out?

You're getting tabs, but losing all that functionality.
Maybe others are right about it only being a temporary loss. Time will tell.
The only concerning thing about this is that it was removed earlier, but the option to add it back via a tweak was available. Now that option is gone.
