File Explorer stays on top when opening other app.

As requested, my Windows Pro version # is: 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1555)
Problem: I use Photoshop for editing photos and creating lots of composite images, artwork, flyers etc. I view thumbnails of my photos with File Explorer. I then double-click the thumbnail and it opens in Photoshop, which I have set as the default program to open my images. Unfortunately, when Photoshop opens and shows my image, File Explorer decides to come to the party and displays in front of Photoshop. Most annoying. Is there a fix to have my active program on top of File Explorer? Any help will be appreciated.
P.S. It would be great if I was able to copy and paste the WinVer details, instead of having to type it into my post :)

I use Snipping Tool. Take a snip, right click copy and paste it here.

As for Explorer jumping to the front, its a known issue for some. There are other threads about it .

It seems to be a bug not fixed yet. 🙁 I would just minimise for now.

Hi All, I kept digging and it was a bug in the version of Faststone Image Viewer v7.7 which I use to view and cull my photos. It has a hot key to open the image in Photoshop (or Camera Raw) and this is where the problem was.
I rolled back to v7.5 and all is good again. Many thanks for your quick responses - very much appreciated :)

Many thanks Scott. I thought I had the issue sorted but if I right click on a JPG file in File Explorer and choose Photoshop to open it, File Explorer stays on top of Photoshop. A bit annoying so it could be an issue with File Explorer OR Photoshop. I'm a patient person so I will wait to see if updates can combat the issue.

I know this is an old issue but I'm still having the problem of File Explorer staying in front of Photoshop when I use "open with" or double-click on a PSD file. Any solution would be great, thanks.
