Solved Firefox: Disappearing Bookmarks Sidebar

Everytime I load Firefox the bookmarks sidebar is not shown.

Navigating thus View => Sidebar => Bookmarks I can bring it up. It will stay visible for the whole of my browser session.

However, after I've closed this session and started another. the bookmark sidebar is missing again.

How can I make the bookmarks sidebar be available all the time?

FF 127.0.2
OS Windows 11 Pro v 24H2 Build(26100.1000).

I tested just now and works okay for me. 127.0.2 Closed from the Taskbar icon.

With my FF I can turn it off using icon at top-right and it disappears (as it should). I can then turn it back on again at the icon. What I find odd is that if I turn it off and then close FF the sidebar reappears the next time I open FF. I thought FF would remember my choice. It's the opposite of how your FF is behaving. Sorry this doesn't answer your question.

According to Mozilla, this is a known issue with Firefox version 127.0.0 onwards

They are actively looking for a solution.

Issue caused by corrupt Firefox profile AND I had 'Clear history when Fiefox closes' set - known bug.

This is possibly going to fixed in v 130.x.x

Didn't see it on 128.0.2, just got 128.0.3, no issue. The icon for it is in Customize Toolbar..., tried it and took 3 tries for it to add to the Toolbar.
