Yeah, I knew you could get the player to always stay on top, but I only have three monitors, and the one I have my player on, I usually have Adobe Acrobat with documents I'm working off. It's a limited surface issue.
What UI are you using?... it's more often than not that I can't select something to play.
The default. If there are multiple songs in an album, it seems to allow me to play them. If there's one song in the album, it won't allow me to play it.What UI are you using?
Middle click? If there's one song in the album, it won't allow me to play it.
Nope.Middle click?
Go to Preferences | Album List | Actions. There, you can set Double Click Action or Middle Button Action to Send to Current Playlist or Send to New Playlist, and, under Playlist Interaction, also make sure that the Start playback when sending selection to playlist checkbox is still checked (default). One of the main differences between foobar2000 and other players is the fact that playlists are pretty much central to how foobar2000 is designed to work, which makes it confusing at first. There's also what they call the Queue, which makes it possible to insert tracks to be played after the currently playing track of a playlist without actually modifying the playlist in question, and which is invisible by default, BUT... that's where Queue Contents Editor component comes in really very handy. foobar2000: Components Repository - Queue Contents EditorWell, after using Foobar for a few days, I can say I do like it as an alternate media player. The thing I don't like about it is that you can't always select music to play in the left-hand pane. In fact, it's more often than not that I can't select something to play. That's unfortunate and a dealbreaker, really.
